Something I did quickly while I was at the Dungeons and dragons group I got into recently. My character is an avian or winged elf who hides his wings under a cloak of disguise self.

He has a horribly dark back story ending with him being banished from his home and ending up on a wayward island nation.
His Backstory

I could do similar ones like these as commissions if people like this.

Great use of texture! And I like the limited color choice, it unifies the drawing and helps the hard, black lines appear very appropriate :)

Thank you Cionie. I just used flat color with this until I can get shading down.
I used a parchment texture as an overlay on the entire piece and learned how to do that in my graphic design course.
I thought the bold lines would work well, so they would show up even on the texture.
